Psychotherapy & counselling

“We do not have a one shoe fits all approach and by integrating various theoretical approaches in psychology, our style of therapy is flexible and tailored to the unique needs of each client. We do our best to make therapy a place that is comfortable, private and safe.”

Psychotherapeutic services for children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics are offered in individual counselling as well as group counselling settings.  We are skilled in working with children, teenagers and adults who are experiencing emotional challenges, work or school related difficulties, personal development needs, relationship difficulties and parenting needs. The practice provides both long term dynamic therapy as well as short-term solution focused therapy which would depend on the unique needs of each client.

We provide assistance in the diagnosis, treatment and management of the following psychological concerns for Children, Adolescents, Adults, Elderly, Couples and Family:

  • Neuropsychological Difficulties
  • Behavioural Problems
  • Emotional
  • Learning Related
  • Social
  • Career and Vocational Guidance
  • Health & Chronic Illness

An integrated approach to therapy is used to suit individual needs. Therapy may include behavioural therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy and psychodynamic therapy. Parental guidance is a practical and interactive process that aims to assist parents to effectively manage problems and behaviours within the home context. An evidence-based assessment that provides an objective picture of the contributing and underlying concerns is followed up with an integrated approach that draws from behavioural therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, play therapy and parenting guidance.
